JR filter is an "eternity filter" based on unique cotton fibres and will last for many years if properly cared for. It is important to follow the care instructions for the Sport Air Filter. It should be washed and oiled at least every 1000-1500 miles, depending on the season and type of roads. Cleaning is recommended after about 1000 miles.
