Extremely affordable coilovers for Vollvo S60, V60, V70, S80.

These dampers have two different adjustments:

1. Damper adjustment (to raise and lower)
2. Spring adjustment to adjust the spring tension.

The spring should not be loose. If it does then the spring tension is not done correctly.

Install the damper with top bearing (strut bearing). Make sure it is firmly in place. Adjust the upper nut by hand until the spring is fixed between the adjusting nut and the strut bearing. Turn the lower nut until it reaches the upper nut. Adjust the upper nut with the tool until there is about 5 mm between the nuts. Then you have the correct spring pressure. Unscrew the lower nut again and lock it with the tool.

After that, you can adjust the damper to the desired level, and lock the nut with the tool. The height is only adjusted with the damper. If you adjust with the spring, it will be wrong and then the suspension will not work as it should.
