MAD Air Suspension – Improved comfort and flexibility for Volkswagen Pickup & Chassis

MAD air suspension is in most cases designed to work together with the vehicle's original rear suspension. It is particularly suitable for vehicle owners who want to be able to adjust the suspension hardness themselves and adapt the vehicle to the load and driving conditions.

Different types of air suspension

• Manual inflation – inflate the bellows via an external air source to the desired pressure.
• With compressor and pressure gauge – adjust the air pressure directly from the cabin, even while driving.
• Full Air Suspension – a system that automatically compensates for the original suspension and adjusts the load level.

Advantages of MAD air suspension

• Optimal driving experience both loaded and unloaded.
• Rear height adjustment for better ground clearance when needed.
• No modification required – no holes need to be drilled during installation.
• Does not affect the vehicle's warranty.
• Individual adjustment of right and left bellows – perfect for uneven load distribution.
• Higher load capacity than steel springs, but for constant heavy loads, Heavy-Duty steel springs may be a better option.

Recommendation

For best results, we recommend combining the air bellows with a compressor. This allows you to easily adjust the pressure at the touch of a button inside the cabin, while avoiding the risks of too high or too low air pressure.
