Discover coilovers – the perfect lowering solution

Coilovers are the obvious choice for those who want full control over their car's height, road holding and appearance. We offer adjustable coilovers for most car models – perfect for both street use and track use.

Better road holding and correct stance

Whether you are looking for better road holding or a lower stance, at SC Styling we have coilovers for BMW, VW, Audi and many other brands. Choose from well-known brands such as H&R and TA Technix or our own brand SC Styling, where you get great quality at a good price.

If you don't need to adjust the height, check out our fixed lowering kits for cars and shock absorbers. Don't forget to match them with spacers for the correct wheel alignment.

Coilovers - Frequently asked questions and answers

What are coilovers?

Coilovers are a combined spring and shock absorber assembled into a single unit, providing superb shock absorption.

What do coilovers do?

Coilovers raise or lower your car. You choose how much you want to raise/lower. Most commonly you can adjust about 35-65mm, but it depends on the car you have and the coils you choose.

Should I get coilovers or a lowering kit?

The advantage of coilovers is that you can adjust it as you like. For example, it might be a good idea to raise the car in the winter but lower it in summer and spring. The disadvantage of coilovers is that they are often more expensive than a lowering kit.

So a lowering kit is cheap, but cannot be fine-tuned. Coilovers can be raised and lowered according to season or mood, but are often a bit more expensive. In general, you get the quality you pay for.

How do you raise coilovers?

Most inexpensive models only have a locking ring and an adjusting ring on which the spring rests. That ring is screwed down or up, and that determines how much suspension the spring has. The hardness of the car depends on how high or low you set the coilovers.

On more expensive variants, you screw on the lower mount instead. These can therefore be adjusted in height without affecting suspension and hardness.

Do you have coilovers for my Volvo?

We have coilovers for several different models, including Volvo. Select your car, model and year higher up. If you are unsure, or if you have any questions, please contact our customer service.

What brands do you carry?

We offer coilovers from Bilstein, H&R and AP, among others.
