If you assemble a led lamp in car that uses less current than normal halogene then the car can alert and shut down the flow of electricity to the lamp as it believes the lamp is broken. With one of our resistances connected between lamp and contact you get rid off this problem and can have LED lamps, e.g foglights in a car with canbus system without any problem.
