BILSTEIN B8 Sprint is a high-pressure gas shock absorber of the monotube type with integrated gas reservoir. Spring struts and spring strut cartridges are similar to BILSTEIN B6 Sport of the upside-down type, with the advantages that this provides. BILSTEIN B8 Sprint has a shortened piston rod, which allows shorter springs to be clamped properly, and not to move in the spring seats.
