Scandinavian Car Styling AB, hereinafter referred to as SC Styling, protects your personal privacy and endeavours to always protect your personal data in the best possible way. It is SC Styling's goal to comply with all applicable laws and regulations for personal data protection. WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS AND WHAT DO WE USE IT FOR?

We process the personal data that you provide or have provided to us, or that we have collected on the site through cookies. We use contact information such as name, address, telephone number and email address (in some cases also vehicle registration number) to fulfil the agreement to notify and deliver a product that we enter into when you place an order with us. This information is stored for one year, unless any of the products have a warranty period longer than one year, in which case we store the information until the date the warranty expires.

When you contact our customer service, we collect your contact information in order to assist you with your case in the best possible way. This may include, for example, complaints.

To develop and improve our business, product range and services, we may process information relating to, for example, purchases, order history, product interests and use of our services for internal analysis and statistical purposes.

Where direct identification is not necessary, we pseudonymise the data, for example by removing email addresses and other directly identifying information or replacing them with pseudonymous identifiers. The data may then be used, for example, to analyse purchasing patterns, repeat purchases, demand, product range development and the development of customer relationships.

Pseudonymised data used for these analyses may be stored for up to 36 months. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in analysing and developing our business, product range and services. We save your email address for the purpose of sending marketing via email if you authorise this in our checkout. This information is saved for one year and can be renewed annually if consent is given again.

We save your email address for the purpose of marketing via social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads if you authorise this in our checkout. This data is saved for one year and can be renewed annually if consent is given again.

Mobile phone numbers for the purpose of sending marketing via SMS or MMS are saved if you agree to this in our checkout. This data is stored for one year and can be renewed annually if consent is given again.

You can contact us at any time to withdraw consent for marketing to you as a customer, request access to your personal data stored with us, request correction of your personal data or request deletion of your personal data.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

To keep the personal data we process safe, we have taken several security measures. We have implemented security procedures and technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, such as browser certification technology. Furthermore, we have appropriate firewalls and antivirus software to protect the network and prevent unauthorised access.

SC Styling also uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer), which is a protocol for the secure transmission of data via the Internet. As a customer, you need to check that SSL is not switched off in your browser settings. In order to prevent unauthorised access when processing your payment or credit card number, one-way encryption is also used.

At SC Styling, we minimise access to your personal data and only those who need to use it for each of the purposes listed above have access. If you order a product that is sent directly from our supplier, we may need to disclose contact information to enable delivery. We have ensured that our suppliers handle your personal data securely through our Data Processing Agreements. Through these agreements, we have ensured that personal data is processed securely and in accordance with the GDPR.

HOW LONG IS MY PERSONAL DATA STORED?

Your data is never stored for longer than what is permitted under applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). Pseudonymised data used for statistics and analysis is stored for up to 36 months.

ACCESSING, UPDATING AND CORRECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You have the right, under applicable data protection legislation (GDPR), to be informed of the personal data processed about you, regardless of how it was collected. If you want such information, you should submit a written request to us. In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, the request must be signed by you and sent by post to the address stated on the site.

SC Styling wants to ensure that your personal data is correct and up to date. If any of the information you have provided to SC Styling changes, for example if you change your email address, name or payment details, or if you wish to cancel your user account, please provide SC Styling with the correct information by sending an email to SC Styling. SC Styling may disclose personal data to third parties, such as the police or other authorities, if it relates to the investigation of a criminal offence or if we are otherwise obliged to disclose such data by law or by decision of an authority.

REVIEWS AND CUSTOMER FEEDBACK

After a completed purchase, we may share necessary contact and order information, such as your name, email address, order number and information about purchased products, with the Swedish company Trustvoice AB, company registration number 556733-2522. The information is used to send you a request to leave a customer or product review and to verify that the review originates from a genuine customer. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in collecting customer feedback and developing our products and services. You can opt out of future review requests at any time using the link provided in the email.
